Solar panel hangers

This "solar panel hanger" allows clamping the module up to 16" from its bottom edge (the company that makes them (Solar Tools USA) now offers an XL version that allows an extra 6"... for extra tall 72-cell modules). It's currently at this max setting (its length can be reduced 6" for landscape orientation).

It can be microadjusted by a knob at the end... but that's tedious and you can probably skip it.

My hanger is adjusted to go over Pegasus rails (it can be readjusted with a hex bit). I don't bother securing it to the rail with the set screw... this has never been a problem.

You can put both hangers closer to the side you'll take them out from. ...Or just use one hanger on that side, if the module will be up against another module on the far side.

Take the hangers out before tightening down the bottom module clamps. Turn the hanger 90 degrees to get it off the rail. Turn it towards the "business side" (the side with the holes and writing)... this makes it easier to pull out without accidentally damaging the module backsheet.

By taking it apart in the middle and reattaching perpendicularly... you can use it to stack up to six modules on the roof (according to Solar Tools USA).

I hope it's helpful. I'd appreciate any feedback on your experience with it. No rush to get it back to me.
